At Louisiana Castle, we want your wedding (or event) to run as smoothly as possible. Your D.J. for the event, your meal, (whether buffet or sit down), and our standard decorations are included in all packages, with upgrades available. You will find vendors we use below as well as other vendors who are familiar with our venue and how our services run. Understand, we do not guarantee any vendors' services other than what we supply in our packages. 

One notation we would like to make:

When hiring a photographer that is not familiar with our grounds or how our weddings or events proceed, we request you have your photographer review all photos and the lay of the land so your portraits are as elegant and mesmerizing as your wedding. Things can move fairly quickly in a few hours. We are always happy to speak with you or the photographer to give pointers, and we always recommend you secure a list of expected photos, such as The Throne Chairs, the Bridal walk, the Juliet Balcony, etc. 

Accommodations

The Juliet Suite is always available for the Newlyweds to rent after EVERY Wedding Package with the exception of our Saturday daytime Weddings. (Due to our Saturday night wedding schedule.)  The Juliet Suite is currently included in our Elopement Packages. Otherwise, the Juliet Suite is available to the couple for $375. 

All guests and staff leave directly after your Reception and the entire Castle is yours for the night! Enjoy our screened, outdoor, private jacuzzi and deck located downstairs, stroll the grounds, or relax in the Juliet Suite. The choice is yours! Our staff also leaves  a bite for you to nibble in the mini fridge located in the Juliet Suite!

So don't end your enchanted evening at the Reception..... Hold those wonderstruck moments as long as you can!  

Castle Cottage

This home is located approximately 3 minutes from the Castle and is owned and managed by the same individuals. With sleeping accommodations for up to 15 people, and 2 bathrooms, this makes the perfect rental for your family or bridal party.

As an added benefit, you can also utilize the Cottage for additional time for the Bridal Party to get ready before the Juliet Suite opens up, or for a "get together" for the Groom's party.

Alcohol Caterers

Louisiana Castle is not licensed to sell or distribute alcohol. For this reason, you are allowed to furnish your own alcohol or you can hire an alcohol caterer. Below are vendors in our area who will cater to our venue.

Your wedding will be one of the most memorable events in your life. Louisiana Castle wants to take a moment to emphasize how vital it is to select a photographer who is experienced with weddings. As wedding experts, we want to stress, photographs and video are not a place to cut corners. We've been at this for over 20 years, so we have seen it all. There are many excellent photographers who are accustomed to working in studios or with static art. Your wedding is not the time to hire those with such talent, or to have "Uncle Bob" take pictures because he's glued to his camera and is "pretty good" at it. Your wedding will be fast-paced and people are constantly moving where the lighting changes at each angle. Although we cannot guarantee any vendors' performance or your satisfaction, we wish to stress we have worked extensively with all the photographers listed below and have known our clients to be delighted with the results. In addition, these photographers are familiar with our Castle, understand any indoor and outdoor lighting issues, know the favorite spots for your photographs, and they know the grounds well. Time management is imperative. Should you hire a photographer who has never photographed here, we recommend you send them to the sites associated with the photographers below so they can get a feel for the grounds, ballroom, and throne room.
