Receptions and Events
At Louisiana Castle, Ceremony and Reception Packages are our specialties, however, we also cater for Receptions only, as well as special events you may have planned. We've hosted anniversaries, retirements, birthdays, family reunions, and even corporate events! Have your own Mardi Gras party with up to 350 Guests! We provide the perfect atmosphere because we can accommodate up to 350 guests for corporate seminars or parties, have equipment for speaking engagements, as well as ample parking. With 10 acres to stroll on the Castle grounds, a large covered pavilion for relaxing or smoking, and plenty of room for entertaining indoors and out, The Castle makes an excellent environment for any kind of gathering you want!
For several years, we've hosted numerous Proms! Need to plan a Quinceañera? What about a "Sweet 16?" Oh, to be celebrating our youth again! Wait, are you turning 50 already? No worries! We cover all ages.
When you book a party with us, we can take care of food and non-alcoholic beverages or you may provide your own insured caterer to cover those services. For smaller events, we've even allowed the Client to provide their own refreshments. Our events are determined on a case by case basis. Be sure to contact us to see if we can accommodate you.
One option that has worked well for large parties is renting a bus. We have hosted parties that begin with a trip from New Orleans on the bus and end with the bus ride back! (Actually, we aren't certain when the party ended!) We have bus and limousine rentals who have provided services for previous Guests listed on our Vendor page.

Louisiana Castle is not licensed to supply or serve alcohol. Our Clients have the option of providing their own alcohol or hiring a Vendor. We have recommendations for alcohol caterers on the Vendor page. Please contact Dolly for further explanation if necessary.
