Thank you for your interest in the Louisiana Castle. We offer a variety of uses for Louisiana Castle. The cost depends on what you want and when you want it. Even if you are planning a small event we will try to work with you. Louisiana Castle is very affordable if you are planning a last minute event or if you want to rent Louisiana Castle on a weekday or weeknight.
Prices for functions such as weddings, birthday parties, proms, anniversaries or any special event depend on the number of people, what we provide and the date of the event. Although we offer complete packages, they are not required. You can bring your own caterer if they meet our requirements. Give us a call and tell us what you want and we will tell you what it will cost. You might be surprised how affordable we can be.
Our wedding packages are also very affordable, particularly when you consider what is provided. Please call even if you are planning a small affair. Our minimums do not apply to all dates.
The ceremony package is only available when having a reception at Louisiana Castle. The bridal party can arrive one hour before the ceremony and use the Juliet Suite and Groom’s Room to get ready. One-half hour is allowed for the ceremony. The reception starts when the ceremony ends. The price includes decorations for the stage, a sound system for the ceremony and seating for the outside ceremony. The services of an officiant may be arranged for an additional charge.
The prices in the reception package stated above are for a three-hour reception including our Reception Menu, Wedding Cake, Groom’s Cake, boxed Anniversary Cake, and D.J. and JBL Sound System, extensive music selection .You will work directly with our baker to customize your cake. The price also includes the exclusive use of Louisiana Castle and grounds, tables, chairs, standard white linens on the inside tables, white chair covers and silver bows, wedding cake table, silk flower arrangements on the food tables, and individual centerpieces for the guest tables. As a gift, we will provide you with a guest book if requested.
The price also includes the USE of our silver cake stand, champagne glasses for the Bride and Groom, cake cutters and servers. Please note no reduction in price is given if you choose not to use these items. The prices do not include alcohol. We do not provide or serve alcohol but you can provide your own. There is a bar that will be set up with ice, cups, and soft drinks (if we are providing the catering). You bring what you want to drink and we will help you set up the bar. This will save you money and enables you to serve exactly what you want. If you prefer, we can provide the name of an approved caterer that can provide the bar.
Our staff can assist you with expanded menus. For an additional fee, Steven Thomas of Accents in Color, can assist you with florals, colors, and decor.
Overnight stays are quoted for two guests. When the reception is over the bride and groom go upstairs to the Juliet Suite. Your guests leave, a quick clean up is done, then the entire Castle is turned over to the newlyweds. The Castle is a very romantic setting for your wedding night. The one thing that The Castle can offer that other reception facilities can not, is the opportunity to spend your wedding day and night in one place. A practical reason for having your ceremony, reception and spending the night is that you can eliminate the cost of limousines.
Please remember that our full packages are not required, but have been made for your convenience. We will allow you to self-cater, bring in an outside caterer or provide any of the other services. If you want to provide some of your own services, call us for a quote. Please consider when you compare our prices to our competitor’s prices, that we do not charge gratuity. Also, if you do not meet our minimums, call and we will work with you.
A $100.00 refundable deposit will hold your scheduled date for two weeks, while a contract is drawn up and signed. At the time the contract is signed at least $500.00 is put down. Additional payments must bring your deposit to one - half of the contract price by a designated date (see contract for full details). The final one-half payment balance is due 45 days prior to the function.
